More than 1 billion square meters of insulating glass units have been assembled throughout the world with TOTALSEAL, NOVATHERM, PRC and BOSTIK sealants, the four brands supplied by LJF.
It is nearly half a century since PRC and its licensee Le Joint Français supplied the first elastic sealants based on polysulphide for production of double glazed units

More recently our company has increased its product range by taking over the activities of BOSTIK in the European insulating glass market with sealants based on polyurethane and hot melt butyl.

These sealants, which provide vapour and gas impermeability, have ensured that insulating glass is a major benefit in all types of buildings.
Recently, a new system of unit assembled with a thermoplastic spacer has been launched and our company has developed such a spacer which meets international specifications with our polyurethane or polysulphide based sealants as the secondary seal.

The materials conform to very strict International Standards, including the American ASTME-773-81, the French NF P78-451, the German DIN1286 Sections 1 and 2, the Italian UNI 10593/2, the British BS 5713, the Japanese JISR 3209 and the European Norm CEN PR EN 1279-2.etc, and to the specific requirements of our customers.

It is therefore possible for our customers around the world to obtain approvals and standards markings from the certified organizations within their own country.

With the brand names of TOTALSEAL, PRC, NOVATHERM and BOSTIK, we can offer our customers the product that is best suited to their needs, with our range of sealants based on polysulphide, Permapol ®, polyurethane, hot melt butyl, primary seal butyl (PIB) and butyl for thermoplastic spacer (TPS).

N.B. For our primary seal and our polyurethane based sealants, both TOTALSEAL and BOSTIK are used for the same products, according to the country (Bostik in Continental Europe only).
