The introductions of robots, the need to reduce weight, and basic aerodynamics, have led car manufacturers to the process of bonding fixed glass in vehicles.Safety considerations demand very high performance from the sealants and adhesives used.

Our Research and Development Department has perfected a complete method for bonding fixed glass which satisfies car manufacturer's requirements: it embraces both the long-term properties required and the characteristics needed by the robots used in vehicle assembly. The system consists of cleaners and primers for painted steel and glass, with polyurethane adhesives.

We are not only dealing with original equipment manufacturers but also with the windscreen replacement market, using cartridges and sausages of adhesives that are either single part or 2 part products for cars with or without airbags. In addition to bonding fixed windows, our complete range of sealants, adhesives, coatings and encapsulants provides original solutions to many problems of sealing, bonding and protection of metallic, plastic or composite structures.

At original equipment manufacturers we supply adhesives and sealants for the assembly of doors, watershield foils, headliners, bonnets and boot lids; for hem flange bonding and seam sealing, filling cavities with expandable sealants (> 1000% expansion); and many other applications.

At subsuppliers we supply adhesives and sealants used in the production of door panels, textile lamination, interior trim, dashboards, seats, headlamps, filters, brakes, rear parcel shelves, mirrors, etc.

LJF products are designed for both the automotive industry and other industries which demand a high level of mechanical and physicochemical characteristics e.g. bus and coach, railways, containers, petrol stations, fuel tanks,...).

LJF’s quality system is certified ISO 9001 (AFAQ)
LJF’s environmental is certified ISO 14001 (BVQI)
